Real Ways not Runways with Juliana Cho

Manufacture New York's Real Ways not Runways series is where to go when you want to know how successful designers and industry professionals got to where they are. At Real ways not Runways they will lay out their strategies and tactics brick by brick. They will explain the pitfalls and promise of the path that they chose and follow. Our hope is that these talks will serve as both inspiration and specific examples of how even now talent combined with the right tactics can drive designers to success.

Our first event is a late afternoon meet, greet, and chat with designer Juliana Cho of Annelore. Juliana worked for Catherine Malandrino before launching her line and opening her boutique in 2002. Juliana's clothes have been featured in Vogue, Elle, New York Magazine, Lucky, Marie Claire and Harper's Bazaar just to name a few. Her designs have been seen on Gretchen Mol, Stella Tennant, Julianna Moore, and Liv Tyler as well as many other women with great taste. Her unique approach to her collections and her business model make her a valuable resource for designers trying to find that elusive way forward.
