Artist in residence at Queen Mary University of London, Di Mainstone collaborates with engineers and musicians to create sculptures that connect to the body and release sound via the wearer's movement. Di showcases her body-cenric sculptures through films and performances at galleries and theatres.
Join us at Manufacture New York, where Di will discuss the intersections of wearable tech and performance art. She will also discuss her latest piece, the Human Harp, which turns the Brooklyn Bridge into a giant musical instrument through a body reactive system.
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
