Q: What is Manufacture New York?


A:  Manufacture New York is a hybrid incubator and factory dedicated to providing emerging and independent fashion designers with the resources and skills to streamline their process, from concept to customer. We are driving the transformation of local manufacturing, so it can be the most affordable, innovative, and sustainable option for all. 

Q: What machines do you have in your Garment Center Pilot Program location?

A:  We currently have the following machines available: Two single needle Jukis, One heavy duty single needle, one double needle cover stitch machine, one marrow stitch machine, one flat lock, and one blind hem. We also have three home machines and one home serger. 

Q: Who is your target designer?

A: We work with a broad range of designers from across the industry.


Q: What is the Garment Center Pilot Program?

A: The Garment Center Pilot Program, located on 23 W 36th Street, was opened on Sept 9th, as exactly what the name indicated--a pilot program, while the Brooklyn flagship is being built out. 


Q: What services do you offer?

A: We offer a full suite of services from small run production, to consulting to product development. We are here to assist in your development process from the very beginning--sample to production.  See a full list of development offerings here.
